I grew up in Buckner and still live there. I received my Undergrad from Graceland in 2012 with a double emphasis in elementary and special education. Next, I received my Master's degree from UCM in 2015 for secondary school administration. I started working for the Fort Osage District in 2010 as a paraprofessional and started teaching in 2012. I married my best friend Matt in 2004. My 3 sons, RJ, Wyatt, and Billy keep me busy. They are athletes (soccer, baseball, basketball, and football), musicians (clarinet, saxophone, cornet), scholars and RJ debates. As a family, we enjoy camping, fishing, laughing bonfires, and eating dinner together. The Hephners are over the moon excited to be dedicated to the WN dynasty. Go TIGERS!
As the Director of Student Support Services, I am the point of contact for the following programs: Special Education, 504's, Migrant Students, ELL students, Foster Care Point of Contact, McKinney-Vento Homeless Students, Parents As Teachers, Free and Reduced Lunches, and Title 1. If you have questions or think you know of a family in need of any of these services please feel free to reach out to me by phone or email. |
