Dual Credit & Scholarship Information Spring 2026
Dual credit courses allow WN students to simultaneously earn high school and college credit. This will enable students to take college-level courses at a more affordable price. There is a fee per credit hour depending on the college and the course hours. The price can range from $85-110 per college hour. Most courses are worth 3 credit hours and are paid for by the student through the college. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and meet the eligibility requirements for each course. These college-level courses are available to WN students through online courses taught by university professors.
The majority of the classes we offer meet the general education requirements for most colleges/universities. Students need to check to see how each class will transfer to each university they are interested in attending before enrolling in a dual credit course. You can usually do this by visiting the potential colleges/university website and searching for their course equivalencies section.

- Do not purchase an ebook from the publisher. The main concern here is COMM 1000, there always seems to be an issue with this course's ebook. Tia Milburn is now the Director of the University Store. Amanda Olive (olive@ucmo.edu) is now in charge of Course Materials.
